LONQUIMAY

The Lonquimay Volcano is a Chilean volcano, located in the Andes Mountain Range, in the Malleco Province of the La Araucania Region.

On its slopes a high polar climate predominates, where the only existing vegetation is made up of lichens and mosses attached to the volcanic rock and abundant araucaria.

The volcano is inserted between two National Reserve Parks; Malalcahuello and Nalcas.

LONQUIMAY SINGLE VINEYARD
TEMPRANILLO 60% CABERNET SAUVIGNON 40%

This wine is a blend of Tempranillo, a variety of Rioja, an origin that provides its intense red color,
bluish at first, and darker and deeper when maturing; always fruity, the ripe cherry notes stand out;
and Cabernet Sauvignon , to which the notes of red fruits and light cassis are owed.
60% of the wine is a blend oak for 8 months (about 40% French oak and 60% American oak)

MARSELAN 60% CARMENERE 40%

Marselan berries are very small, round, and elliptically shaped.
The wine produced from this variety has a deep red color with violet tinges, intense tannins,
deep concentration, and color, and is rich in polyphenols.
A blend of two grape varietals that complement each other to perfection: Carmenère,
Chile’s signature variety, and Marselan, a new varietal that was only authorized by France in 1991.
Aging for 12 months in American oak (40%) and French oak (60%) barrels.

Winemaker´s Selection is the result of our very own interpretation of some of the most traditional
Old-World varieties.
Most of all, it proves our commitment to make an impression with flavors and aromas, the strength
of the fruit, a full and gentle mouthfeel, and smooth but full of character wines.
A blend of a serious, concentrated, and spicy Cabernet Sauvignon and a young, flavorful, and expressive
Syrah, loaded with black fruit and featuring an attractive, purplish-red robe.
60% of the wine was aged in French (70%) and American (30%) oak for 6 to 8 months.

PINOT NOIR 100%

This Burgundy variety reinvents itself to produce this wine of a beautiful ruby red pale, fresh ripe
strawberry aromas, light spices, and hints of caramel and coffee.
Sweet and delicate body.
100% of the wine is aged in French oak for 5 to 6 months.

Intense bright red with violet hues.
Deep aromas of spices, pepper, and black fruits, with hints of coffee and
bitter chocolate.
Good balance, smooth tannins, and a sweet, lingering sensation.
The aftertaste is dominated by spices, smoke, and caramel.
