Project Description

STONEDANCE

The Swartland, named after the endemic Renosterbos vegetation that turns black after rain, is known for rich, opulent wines and is particularly well suited to Shiraz, Grenache, and Chenin Blanc.

Fairtrade, a global initiative, seeks to improve the lives of farm workers. Stonedance wines are Fairtrade accredited, with farm workers participating in a trust that owns a significant portion of the business. A levy is channelled back to the workers and utilised for the building of clinics, créches as well as for educational support.
